For over 35 years, PJ’s Seafood has been providing the Crossroads with the freshest seafood available from our local fishermen. In 1978, Mickey and Marsha Kostella opened PJ's Seafood market. The market was so successful that they decided to expand. In 1979, the restaurant opened its doors. From the start PJ’s has been known for its friendly service and mouth watering food.
The legacy of PJ’s Seafood continues as the Kostella’s youngest son, Mickey, and his wife, Beth Kostella, took over the business in September 2013. Like all of the Kostella children, Mickey has spent his whole life in and around PJ’s. Mickey’s dedication and vision for the future will bring great things to PJ’s while still keeping with traditions and values set by his parents.
During Lent, the entire family comes to lend a hand in the market and the diner. There are times when customers can see three generations running the counters, taking orders or cleaning fish. It is truly a family business.
